Job vacancy - Head of Sales and Marketing

The role will be responsible for:

Sales and Business Development: 

  • Own the accountability for the Sales and Marketing functions of the entire business.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy that aligns with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Monitor and report on key business metrics to track progress against targets.
  • Work closely with the board to communicate all relevant information and in turn take on board strategy and implement through the Sales and Marketing team.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and lead team of Business Development Managers across the UK.
  • Actively support the growth and development of the team, increasing skill sets to support new business initiatives and strategic goals.
  • Keenly seek new and innovative methods of delivery to secure a unique position for the business within relevant markets.  

Marketing and Brand Management: 

  • Oversee the development and implementation of brand guidelines, marketing materials and networking events to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Create and execute a dynamic marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Focus on client engagement, developing exceptional customer experience, aligned with company values.
  • Mentor the marketing and brand team and support all parts of the business as and when required.
  • Ensure that business objectives and company standards are met consistently.
  • Capable of collaborating with all people at all levels within the business and externally.

Qualifications and experience:

 

  • At least five years of relevant experience in sales and or marketing role within a related industry.
  • Expert in sales strategy, customer engagement, brand, digital marketing, social media and events.
  • Ability to build a rapport and maintain outstanding business relationships.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues in the industry.
  • Experience in handling sensitive data compliantly.
  • Skilled at reviewing data and developing strategies based on insights.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Strong communications, engaging with stakeholders at all levels including high-level clients.
  • Excellent presentation and written skills, maintaining the desired tonality in all companies’ communications.
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Adobe Suite and relevant tools.
  • Full UK driving licence.
